Abstract

This lecture is focused on the creative city policy discourse. It aims to discuss the origins and development of the term ‘creative city’ as well as to explore the roles and meanings attached to the creative city policies. By addressing the creative city making process in Taipei, Shanghai and Hong Kong, this lecture also provides a critical assessment of the politics of the creative city and urban cultural policies at large.

本演講主要目標為讓同學對於「創意城市」的概念、歷史發展、以及「創意城市」政策所扮演的角色有較深入的了解。並藉由臺北、上海、香港案例分析，培養同學對於「創意城市」與都市文化政策的政治批判性思考
